Guests FAQ

Can I get a refund for my ticket purchases?

Guests will have the ability to cancel their ticket purchase as long as it is 24 hours before a Party starts. PartyShark and credit card processing fees will not be refunded. Once the 24 hour timeframe passes, you will no longer be able to receive a refund. If you want to see more information about our payment processing, please see our Terms of Service.

How much does it cost to use PartyShark?

Guests can sign up for free to use our app, search for parties, and attend the nightly events. Prices of tickets will vary depending on the cost that hosts set for their party.

How do I attend Parties on the app?

PartyShark was designed so that users can find their next night out seamlessly. Simply launch the app and find the bubbles populated on the Party Map or explore the Home section of our app!

How do I purchase a ticket for a Party?

Purchasing a ticket is made simple for our guests! Just find a Party that you want to attend on the Party Map or Home page, select the type of ticket that you want to buy, and you’re done after paying! Some parties are free and you don't have to pay anything.

What’s the difference between a Public Party and a Private Party?

A Public Party is a party that all guests on PartyShark can attend. 

There are different kinds of Private Parties. You can decide if you want it show up on the map or not and whether you will allow guests to request coming.

What are the payment options for buying my ticket?

Current payment options that we support are Credit/Debit cards. Other forms of payment will be coming in future releases.

Hosts FAQ

What can I do to make my Parties safer against COVID-19?

COVID-19 has been a continuous and challenging difficulty for all Party-goers and hosts. There are several ways that you can increase the safety of your Parties, such as practicing social distancing and promoting sanitary habits amongst the guests. How do I withdraw my funds from PartyShark?

Your payment information is essential for you to withdraw funds from your ticket sales. Currently PartyShark supports direct deposit for your payouts. To see more about our payment processing options, click [hyperlink].

How much does it cost to use PartyShark?

Hosts can sign up for free to use our app. Hosts can avoid ticketing fees by transferring the cost over to the guests.

  • PartyShark has a flat rate of 12.5% of the ticket price per transaction.
Can I host free events on PartyShark?

Yes! There are no costs to use PartyShark if you are not charging guests for tickets. PartyShark has no enrollment costs, setup fees, or monthly charges.

How do I sell tickets for my Parties on PartyShark?

Our ticket selling process is made easy for you by integrating both the Party creation and ticket pricing intuitively in one place. Once you have filled out your Party information, simply select the cost of your tickets under the Pricing section of your Party. Our app offers a variety of ways to set ticket prices, such as tiered pricing, gender specific pricing, and user rank pricing to maximize your ticket sales and attendance.

Does PartyShark allow me to scan tickets?

Yes! Once your Party begins, you can scan the attendees’ tickets without leaving the app. Check in your guests via your smartphone or tablet by scanning their QR codes found on the tickets for a smooth check-in process for your Party.

Can attendees refund their ticket purchases?

Guests will have the ability to cancel their ticket purchase as long as it is 24 hours before your Party starts. Once the timeframe passes, guests will no longer be able to refund their payment and you will be credited with the ticket price post PartyShark pricing fee.
